Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026. By using Illuminated Arabic Reader (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Illuminated Arabic Reader is an online tool for reading Arabic books with verb/noun tables, translations, and AI-assisted page processing. Access to read the library requires an active subscription.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. One person per account; do not share accounts.

3. Subscriptions, billing & page packs

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. One-time “page packs” are non-recurring top-ups. Processing tiers include a monthly page allowance; page packs add a persistent balance used after the monthly allowance. Prices may change with notice; changes apply at your next renewal. 4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell or redistribute content; attempt to circumvent the subscription gate, rate limits, or usage metering; upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious files; or access other users’ content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent.

5. User uploads

You may upload PDFs you have the right to use. Uploads are stored privately to your account and are not shared with other users. You retain ownership; you grant us a limited license to store, render, and process your uploads to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any file you upload.

6. Intellectual property & copyright

Curated library content remains the property of its respective rights holders (see Copyright). Public-domain works are provided under their original terms; copyright-restricted works are shown as preview only. We respect copyright and respond to valid notices — see our DMCA / Takedown process.

7. AI processing & accuracy

Page processing uses third-party AI (Google Vision and Gemini). Output may contain errors and is provided “as is” for study. Do not rely on it as authoritative for critical purposes.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your account for violations or as required by law.
