وَقَدْ أَجْمَعَ أَهْلُ الْأَدْيَانِ النَّاقِلُونَ عَنْ رُسُلِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، مَعَ مَا تَوَاتَرَ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ فِي سَائِرِ الْأَزْمَانِ ، عَلَى وُقُوعِ الطُّوفَانِ ، وَأَنَّهُ عَمَّ جَمِيعَ الْبِلَادِ ، وَلَمْ يُبْقِ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ كَفَرَةِ الْعِبَادِ ، اسْتِجَابَةً لِدَعْوَةِ نَبِيِّهِ الْمُؤَيَّدِ الْمَعْصُومِ ، وَتَنْفِيذًا لِمَا سَبَقَ فِي الْقَدَرِ الْمَحْتُومِ .

The people of religions who transmit from the messengers of the Most Merciful have agreed, along with what has been successively reported among people in all times, upon the occurrence of the flood, and that it covered all lands, and God did not leave anyone from the disbelieving servants, in response to the supplication of His supported and protected prophet, and in execution of what had preceded in the decreed destiny.
