Tap any Arabic word, get its meaning — without leaving the page
This is an Arabic reader with tap-to-translate built in: touch any word on any page and an instant card shows its dictionary form, English meaning, root (الجذر), verb form (الوزن), full conjugation or plural, and verified example sentences. No copy-pasting into a translator, no second dictionary tab.
Everything on every page
- ✦Full harakat — every page fully vowelled (tashkeel/diacritics), so you never guess pronunciation.
- ✦Verb conjugation tables — past (الماضي), present (المضارع), imperative (الأمر) and verbal noun (المصدر) for every verb on the page.
- ✦Noun tables — singular, plural and contextual English meaning.
- ✦Line-by-line English translation — rendered beside the Arabic.
- ✦Example sentences — three verified sentences for vocabulary words.
- ✦Flashcards — auto-generated from each page's vocabulary — Arabic ↔ English.
Reading stays reading
The fastest way to stall an Arabic reading session is leaving it — to a dictionary app, a conjugator, a translator. Here the lookup happens in place: the word card resolves the surface form to its lemma (stripping clitics like وَ، بِـ، ـهَا), shows the root and verb form, and offers example sentences — then you keep reading. Words you want to keep go straight to your spaced-repetition deck.
Frequently asked questions
How does tap-to-translate work?
Tap any word in the reading view. A morphological resolver strips prefixes and suffixes, matches the word against a verified vocabulary bank and classical dictionaries, and shows the lemma, meaning, root, form, conjugation or plural, and example sentences.
Does it show the verb root and form?
Yes — verbs show their three-letter root (الجذر) and Form I–X (الوزن), e.g. اِسْتَخْرَجَ → root خ ر ج, Form X. This connects each word to its whole root family.
Does it work on my own uploaded books?
Yes — any Arabic PDF you upload gets the same tap-to-translate layer once its pages are processed.
