First:

١. أَسْتَعِينُ بِالْمُعْجَمِ عَلَى تَعَرُّفِ الْمَعْنَى السِّياقِيِّ لِكَلِمَةِ (عِنان) كَمَا وَرَدَتْ فِي الْبَيْتَيْنِ الأَوَّلِ وَالثَّامِنِ.

1. Use the dictionary to identify the contextual meaning of the word "inan" as it appears in the first and eighth verses.

٢. أَسْتَخْرِجُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الثَّالِثِ فِعْلاً مَبْنِيّاً، وَأُبَيِّنُ عَلامَةَ بِنَائِهِ، وَآخَرَ مُعْرَباً، وَأُبَيِّنُ عَلامَةَ إِعْرابِهِ.

2. Extract an indeclinable verb from the third verse and identify its sign of indeclinability, then extract a declinable verb and identify its sign of declension.

٣. أَدُلُّ عَلَى الْخَبَرِ فِي كُلٍّ مِنَ الْبَيْتَيْنِ الرَّابِعِ وَالثَّامِنِ، وَأُبَيِّنُ نَوْعَ كُلٍّ مِنْهُما.

3. Identify the predicate in the fourth and eighth verses and state the type of each.

٤. أُدْخِلُ حَرْفاً مُشَبَّهاً بِالْفِعْلِ عَلَى عِبارَةِ (هُوَ فَجْرُ النُّبُوغِ)، وَأُجْرِي التَّغْيِيرَ الْمُناسِبَ.

4. Insert a particle resembling a verb into the phrase "He is the dawn of genius" and make the necessary adjustments.

٥. أَسْتَخْرِجُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الثَّامِنِ مَفْعُولاً بِهِ، وَأَذْكُرُ نَوْعَهُ.

5. Extract a direct object from the eighth verse and state its type.

٦. أُدْخِلُ فِعْلاً يَتَعَدَّى إِلَى مَفْعُولَيْنِ أَصْلُهُما مُبْتَدَأٌ وَخَبَرٌ عَلَى عِبارَةِ (الطَّبِيعَةُ جَمِيلَةٌ) مُراعِياً الضَّبْطَ الصَّحِيحَ.

6. Insert a verb that takes two objects—originally a subject and predicate—into the phrase "Nature is beautiful," ensuring correct vocalization.

٧. أَدُلُّ مِنَ النَّصِّ عَلَى خَمْسَةِ أَنْواعٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ لِلْمَعارِفِ، وَأُسَمِّي كُلّاً مِنْها.

7. Identify five different types of definite nouns from the text and name each one.

٨. أُحَوِّلُ الأَعْدادَ الْمَوْضُوعَةَ بَيْنَ قَوْسَيْنِ إِلَى كَلِماتٍ مَضْبُوطَةٍ بِالشَّكْلِ.

8. Convert the numbers in parentheses into correctly vocalized words.

قَرَأْتُ (٩) قَصائِدَ وَ (٣) كُتُبٍ عِلْمِيَّةً فِي الْعُطْلَةِ الصَّيْفِيَّةِ.

الأَعْدادُ (٣-٩) تُخالِفُ مَعْدُودَها فِي التَّذْكِيرِ وَالتَّأْنِيثِ مُفْرَدَةً وَمُرَكَّبَةً وَمَعْطُوفَةً.

The numbers (3-9) contradict their counted noun in gender, whether they are single, compound, or conjoined.

الْعَدَدُ (١٠) يُخالِفُ مَعْدُودَهُ تَذْكِيراً وَتَأْنِيثاً إِذا كانَ مُفْرَداً وَيُطابِقُهُ إِذا كانَ مُرَكَّباً.

The number (10) contradicts its counted noun in gender if it is single, and matches it if it is compound.

أَلْفاظُ الْعُقُودِ وَالْمِئَةُ وَالأَلْفُ وَالْمِلْيُونُ لا يَتَغَيَّرُ لَفْظُها مَعَ الْمَعْدُودِ مُذَكَّراً كانَ أَمْ مُؤَنَّثاً.

The terms for decades, one hundred, one thousand, and one million do not change form based on the gender of the counted noun.

يُعْرَبُ الْعَدَدُ الْمُفْرَدُ إِعْرابَ الاِسْمِ الظَّاهِرِ بِحَسَبِ مَوْقِعِهِ فِي الْجُمْلَةِ.

A single number is declined like an explicit noun according to its position in the sentence.

يُبْنَى الْعَدَدُ الْمُرَكَّبُ عَلَى فَتْحِ الْجُزْأَيْنِ وَمَحَلُّهُ مِنَ الإِعْرابِ بِحَسَبِ مَوْقِعِهِ فِي الْجُمْلَةِ.

A compound number is indeclinable on the fatha of both parts, with its grammatical role determined by its position in the sentence.

الْمَعْطُوفُ يُعْرَبُ الْجُزْءُ الأَوَّلُ إِعْرابَ الاِسْمِ الظَّاهِرِ بِحَسَبِ مَوْقِعِهِ فِي الْجُمْلَةِ وَالْجُزْءُ الثَّانِي يُعْطَفُ عَلَى الأَوَّلِ.

For conjoined numbers, the first part is declined like an explicit noun according to its position in the sentence, and the second part is conjoined to the first.

أَلْفاظُ الْعُقُودِ تُعْرَبُ إِعْرابَ الْمُلْحَقِ بِجَمْعِ الْمُذَكَّرِ السَّالِمِ.

Decade terms are declined like the sound masculine plural.

٩. أُعْرِبُ الْكَلِماتِ الَّتِي تَحْتَها خَطٌّ فِي النَّصِّ إِعْرابَ مُفْرَداتٍ، وَمَا بَيْنَ قَوْسَيْنِ إِعْرابَ جُمَلٍ.
