أَمْلَأُ الْفَرَاغَاتِ الْآتِيَةَ بِمَا يَلْزَمُ مِمَّا يَأْتِي مُرَاعِيًا الضَّبْطَ الصَّحِيحَ

ذَهَبْتُ مَعَ أَخِي لِزِيَارَةِ خَالِي فِي جَنِي ثِمَارِ مَزْرَعَتِهِ

I went with my brother to visit my uncle and help harvest his farm's produce.

وَهُنَاكَ أَعْجَبَنِي سِيَاجٌ مِنْ أَشْجَارِ السَّرْوِ يُحِيطُ بِالْبُسْتَانِ مِنْ جِهَاتِهِ الْأَرْبَعِ

I was impressed by the cypress hedge surrounding the orchard on all four sides.

فَسَأَلْتُ خَالِي مَا سَبَبُ وُجُودِ هَذَا السِّيَاجِ؟

I asked my uncle why the hedge was there.

أَجَابَنِي زَرَعَهُ وَالِدِي لِيَصُونَ الْبُسْتَانَ مِنَ الرِّيَاحِ الشَّدِيدَةِ

He replied that my grandfather planted it to shield the orchard from strong winds.

وَأَنَا أُسَاعِدُ فِي حِمَايَةِ بُسْتَانِنَا لِذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا أَنْ نَعْرِفَ قِيمَةَ الْأَشْجَارِ وَنَسْعَى إِلَى رِعَايَتِهَا كَيْ تُثْمِرَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ

I am helping protect our orchard; we must understand the value of trees and strive to care for them so they bear fruit every year.
