أُسْرَتِي الثَّانِيَةُ.

My second family.

أَقْرَأُ.

I read.

بَيْتِي الثَّانِي يَا مَدْرَسَتِي فِيهَا أَقْضِي مُعْظَمَ وَقْتِي.

My second home, my school, where I spend most of my time.

مَنْ فِيهَا يُشْبِهُ عَائِلَتِي فَأَرَى أُمِّي بِمُعَلِّمَتِي.

The people here are like my family; I see my mother in my teacher.

وَمُدِيرِي أَهْوَى طَلَّتَهُ فَأُنَادِي مَرْحَى يَا أَبَتِ.

I love the sight of my principal, and I call out, 'Hurrah, father!'

زُمَلَائِي كَالْإِخْوَةِ حَوْلِي أَنْسَامٌ تَسْرِي فِي رِئَتِي.

My classmates are like brothers around me, a breeze filling my lungs.

بِالْجِدِّ سَأَرْسُمُ أَحْلَامِي بِالْعِلْمِ سَأَرْفَعُ مَرْتَبَتِي.

With diligence, I will sketch my dreams; with knowledge, I will raise my status.

أَزْهَارُ الْحُبِّ سَأَزْرَعُهَا لِأُزَيِّنَ فِيهَا مَزْرَعَتِي.

I will plant flowers of love to decorate my garden here.

وَغَدًا سَأُغَنِّي لِلدُّنْيَا فَرَحًا وَتُرَدِّدُ أُغْنِيَتِي.

Tomorrow, I will sing to the world with joy, and it will echo my song.

أَهْلِي زُمَلَائِي وَمُدِيرِي وَمُعَلِّمَتِي هُمْ عَائِلَتِي.

My classmates, my principal, and my teacher—they are my family.

طَلَبَهُ مَظْهَرُهُ.

أَنْسَامٌ: مُفْرَدُهَا نَسَمٌ: أَوَّلُ الرِّيحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَشْتَدَّ.

Ansam (breezes): singular is nasam, meaning the first breath of wind before it strengthens.

١. أَقْرَأُ النَّصَّ قِرَاءَةً جَهْرِيَّةً سَلِيمَةً، مُحَاكِيًا قِرَاءَةَ الْمُعَلِّمِ.

1. I read the text aloud correctly, imitating the teacher's reading.

٢. أَقْرَأُ الْمَقْطَعَ الْأَوَّلَ مُرَاعِيًا التَّلْوِينَ الصَّوْتِيَّ.

2. I read the first stanza, paying attention to vocal intonation.

٣. أَقْرَأُ الْمَقْطَعَ الثَّانِيَ مُنْتَبِهًا لِلَفْظِ حَرْفَيِ السِّينِ وَالزَّايِ.

3. I read the second stanza, focusing on the pronunciation of the letters Seen and Zay.
