أُعَبِّرُ بِجُمْلَةٍ عَنْ حُبِّي لِوَطَنِي.

I express my love for my homeland in one sentence.

أَتَخَيَّلُ نَفْسِي مَكَانَ جُود، وَأُحَدِّثُ زُمَلَائِي عَنِ الشَّيْءِ الْأَغْلَى فِي وَطَنِي مُبَيِّنًا السَّبَبَ.

I imagine myself in Jude's place and tell my classmates about the most precious thing in my homeland, explaining why.

أَقْرَأُ الْجُمْلَةَ الْآتِيَةَ، وَأَنْتَبِهُ لِلَفْظِ الْحَرْفِ الْمُلَوَّنِ.

I read the following sentence, paying attention to the pronunciation of the colored letter.

أَعَدَّ الْجَدُّ مُفَاجَأَةً لِحَفِيدِهِ.

The grandfather prepared a surprise for his grandson.

أَضَعُ الشَّدَّةَ فَوْقَ الْحَرْفِ الْمُلَوَّنِ، ثُمَّ أُكَرِّرُ لَفْظَ الْكَلِمَةِ الْمُضَعَّفَةِ.

I place the shadda above the colored letter, then repeat the pronunciation of the doubled word.

قَالَ الْجَدُّ: الْأَرْضُ... نَبْنِي الدَّارَ عَلَيْهَا، وَيَجِبُ أَنْ نَمُدَّ جُذُورَنَا فِيهَا، وَنَتَشَبَّثَ بِهَا، وَنُضَحِّيَ مِنْ أَجْلِهَا.

The grandfather said, "The land... we build our homes on it, we must sink our roots into it, hold fast to it, and sacrifice for its sake."

أَخْتَارُ مِنْ شَبَكَةِ الْمُفْرَدَاتِ الْكَلِمَةَ الْمُضَعَّفَةَ، وَأَمْلَأُ الزَّهْرَةَ بِهَا.
