- Upon it, it became fertile and its vegetation lived after death, and He who is capable of reviving the earth after its death is capable of reviving the dead and resurrecting them; Allah the Almighty said: 'And of His signs is that you see the earth desolate, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent.'
- Third: The matter of resurrection has been witnessed by sense and reality as possible, through what Allah the Almighty has informed us of regarding the events of reviving the dead, and Allah the Almighty mentioned five such incidents in Surat al-Baqarah, among them His saying: 'Or [consider] the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. He said, "How will Allah bring this to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him. He said, "How long have you remained?" The man said, "I have remained a day or part of a day." He said, "Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones - how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is over all things competent."'
- Fourth: Wisdom dictates resurrection after death so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and were it not for that, the creation of people would be in vain, having no value and no wisdom behind it, and there would be no difference between humans and beasts in this life.
