بَابُ تَحْرِيمِ الْغَدْرِ. إِذَا لَمْ يَمُنَّ اللهُ عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ بِالتَّوْبَةِ مِنَ الذَّنْبِ؛ لِأَنَّهُ لَا يَزْدَادُ بِهَذَا الذَّنْبِ مِنَ اللهِ إِلَّا بُعْدًا، وَلَا تَزْدَادُ سَيِّئَاتُهُ إِلَّا كَثْرَةً، وَلَا يَزْدَادُ إِيمَانُهُ إِلَّا نَقْصًا، فَنَسْأَلُ اللهَ لَنَا وَلَهُمُ الْهِدَايَةَ وَالتَّوْفِيقَ.

Chapter on the Prohibition of Treachery.
إِذَا لَمْ يَمُنَّ اللهُ عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ بِالتَّوْبَةِ مِنَ الذَّنْبِ؛ لِأَنَّهُ لَا يَزْدَادُ بِهَذَا الذَّنْبِ مِنَ اللهِ إِلَّا بُعْدًا، وَلَا تَزْدَادُ سَيِّئَاتُهُ إِلَّا كَثْرَةً، وَلَا يَزْدَادُ إِيمَانُهُ إِلَّا نَقْصًا، فَنَسْأَلُ اللهَ لَنَا وَلَهُمُ الْهِدَايَةَ وَالتَّوْفِيقَ.
If God does not grant a person repentance for a sin, that sin only drives them further from Him, multiplies their misdeeds, and erodes their faith. We ask God to grant us and them guidance and success.
