بَابُ تَحْرِيمِ لَعْنِ إِنْسَانٍ بِعَيْنِهِ أَوْ دَابَّةٍ. فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُؤْخَذَ مَا عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الرَّحْلِ وَالْمَتَاعِ وَتُعَرَّى - يَعْنِي الْبَعِيرَ - ثُمَّ تُصْرَفُ، قَالَ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهَا فِي النَّاسِ لَا يَتَعَرَّضُ لَهَا أَحَدٌ؛ لِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ أَنْ تُتْرَكَ. وَهَذَا مِنْ بَابِ تَعْزِيرِ هَذِهِ الْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَلْعَنَ دَابَّةً لَا تَسْتَحِقُّ اللَّعْنَ؛ وَلِهَذَا قَالَ: «لَا تُصَاحِبْنَا دَابَّةٌ مَلْعُونٌ» لِأَنَّ هَذِهِ الْمَرْأَةَ لَعَنَتْهَا، وَالْمَلْعُونُ لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُسْتَعْمَلَ، فَلِذَلِكَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ عَنْهَا وَتَرَكَهَا فَيَكُونُ هَذَا تَعْزِيرًا لِلْمَرْأَةِ الَّتِي لَعَنَتْ هَذِهِ الدَّابَّةَ وَهِيَ لَا تَسْتَحِقُّ اللَّعْنَ، وَاللَّهُ الْمُوَفِّقُ.

(from previous page) ⟵ Then he mentioned the hadith of Imran ibn Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him, that a woman was on her camel and became annoyed with it, tired of it, fed up with it, and cursed it, saying: 'May Allah curse you.' The Prophet heard that.
فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُؤْخَذَ مَا عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الرَّحْلِ وَالْمَتَاعِ وَتُعَرَّى - يَعْنِي الْبَعِيرَ - ثُمَّ تُصْرَفُ، قَالَ:
He ordered that the saddle and all belongings be removed from the animal—referring to the camel—and that it then be set free.
فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهَا فِي النَّاسِ لَا يَتَعَرَّضُ لَهَا أَحَدٌ؛ لِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ أَنْ تُتْرَكَ.
I saw that camel among the people, and no one would touch it because the Prophet, peace be upon him, had ordered that it be left alone.
