شَرْحُ رِيَاضِ الصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ كَلَامِ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَا يُخْرِجُهُ إِلَّا جِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِي، وَإِيمَانٌ بِي، وَتَصْدِيقٌ بِرُسُلِي، فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، أَوْ أُرْجِعَهُ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ الَّذِي خَرَجَ مِنْهُ بِمَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ، أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ مَا مِنْ كَلْمٍ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ كُلِمَ؛ لَوْنُهُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ، وَرِيحُهُ رِيحُ مِسْكٍ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ مَا قَعَدْتُ خِلَافَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَبَدًا، وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلَهُمْ، وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً، وَيَشُقُّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا عَنِّي، وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَوَدِدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أَغْزُوَ فَأُقْتَلَ، ثُمَّ أَغْزُوَ فَأُقْتَلَ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ، وَرَوَى الْبُخَارِيُّ بَعْضَهُ). الْكَلْمُ: الْجُرْحُ. الشَّرْحُ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثُ سَاقَهَا الْحَافِظُ النَّوَوِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فِي بَيَانِ فَضْلِ الْمُرَابَطَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، يَعْنِي أَنْ يُرَابِطَ الْإِنْسَانُ عَلَى الْحُدُودِ، أَوِ اتِّجَاهَ الْعَدُوِّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِإِعْلَاءِ كَلِمَةِ اللَّهِ، وَحِفْظِ دِينِ اللَّهِ، وَحِفْظِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، فَإِنَّ هَذَا مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْأَعْمَالِ. وَقَدْ سَبَقَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «رِبَاطٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا (٢)، وَفِي هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثِ دَلِيلٌ عَلَى أَنَّ الْمُرَابِطَ يَجْرِي عَلَيْهِ عَمَلُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَأَنَّهُ يَأْمَنُ (١) أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ كِتَابُ الْإِيمَانِ، بَابُ الْجِهَادِ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ، رَقْمُ (٣٦)، وَمُسْلِمٌ: كِتَابُ الْإِمَارَةِ، بَابُ فَضْلِ الْجِهَادِ وَالْخُرُوجِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، رَقْمُ (١٨٧٦). (٢) أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ كِتَابُ الْجِهَادِ وَالسِّيَرِ، بَابُ فَضْلِ رِبَاطِ يَوْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، رَقْمُ (٢٨٩٢)، وَمُسْلِمٌ كِتَابُ الْإِمَارَةِ، بَابُ فَضْلِ الْغُدْوَةِ وَالرَّوْحَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، رَقْمُ (١٨٨١)، مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.

(from previous page) ⟵ It was narrated by Ahmad (1/65), and Al-Tirmidhi: Book of the Virtues of Jihad, Chapter on what has been reported concerning the virtue of the Murabit, Hadith no. (1667), and Al-Nasa'i: Book of Jihad, Chapter on the Virtue of Ribat, Hadith no. (4322), and Ibn Majah: Book of Jihad, Chapter on the Virtue of Ribat, Hadith no. (2769), and Al-Hakim (2/79), and he said: Its chain of narration is authentic according to the conditions of Muslim, and Al-Dhahabi agreed with him. Al-Albani said in Sahih Al-Jami' Al-Saghir (3584): (It is) authentic. The meaning of the hadith is that the action of the Murabit (one who guards the frontiers) continues to be rewarded even after his death, and his good deeds are multiplied for him, and he is protected from the torment of the grave and the terror of the Day of Judgment. This is a great virtue for those who guard the frontiers for the sake of Allah. Explanation of Riyad al-Salihin from the words of the Master of Messengers, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَا يُخْرِجُهُ إِلَّا جِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِي، وَإِيمَانٌ بِي، وَتَصْدِيقٌ بِرُسُلِي، فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، أَوْ أُرْجِعَهُ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ الَّذِي خَرَجَ مِنْهُ بِمَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ، أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ،
Whoever sets out in My cause, driven only by struggle for My sake, faith in Me, and belief in My messengers, I guarantee that I will either admit him into Paradise or return him to his home with the reward or spoils he has earned.
وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ مَا مِنْ كَلْمٍ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ كُلِمَ؛ لَوْنُهُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ، وَرِيحُهُ رِيحُ مِسْكٍ،
By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, every wound sustained in the cause of Allah will appear on the Day of Resurrection exactly as it was when inflicted; its color will be that of blood, yet its scent will be that of musk.
