بَابُ جَوَازِ الْبُكَاءِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ بِغَيْرِ نَدْبٍ وَلَا نِيَاحَةٍ. كَانَ أَعْظَمَ النَّاسِ جَاهًا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ، وَلَوِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَدْفَعَ الْمَوْتَ لَدَفَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَنْ أَبْنَائِهِ وَبَنَاتِهِ وَلَدَفَعَهُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ، وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا بِيَدِهِ الْأَمْرُ وَلَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ، وَلَنْ يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا.

بَابُ جَوَازِ الْبُكَاءِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ بِغَيْرِ نَدْبٍ وَلَا نِيَاحَةٍ.
Chapter: The permissibility of weeping for the deceased without wailing or lamentation.
كَانَ أَعْظَمَ النَّاسِ جَاهًا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ، وَلَوِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَدْفَعَ الْمَوْتَ لَدَفَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَنْ أَبْنَائِهِ وَبَنَاتِهِ وَلَدَفَعَهُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ،
He held the highest status before God. Had it been possible for anyone to avert death, the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—would have averted it from his children and from himself.
وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا بِيَدِهِ الْأَمْرُ وَلَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ، وَلَنْ يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا.
Yet all authority belongs to God, the Majestic and Exalted, and everything is His. God will never delay a soul once its appointed time has arrived.
