حُكْمُ الْمَفْعُولِ الْقَائِمِ مَقَامَ الْفَاعِلِ حُكْمُ الْفَاعِلِ؛

The ruling of the object standing in the place of the subject is the ruling of the subject.

فَكَمَا أَنَّهُ لَا يَرْفَعُ الْفِعْلُ إِلَّا فَاعِلًا وَاحِدًا، كَذَلِكَ لَا يَرْفَعُ الْفِعْلُ إِلَّا مَفْعُولًا وَاحِدًا؛

Just as the verb does not raise except one subject, likewise the verb does not raise except one object.

فَلَوْ كَانَ لِلْفِعْلِ مَعْمُولَانِ فَأَكْثَرُ أَقَمْتَ وَاحِدًا مِنْهَا مَقَامَ الْفَاعِلِ، وَنَصَبْتَ الْبَاقِيَ؛

If the verb had two governed words or more, you would set one of them in the place of the subject and keep the rest in the accusative case.
