بِحَيْثُ تُعَدُّ بَيْتًا لِلضُّيُوفِ، فَهَلْ يَكْفِي أَنْ تَقُولَ: يَا فُلَانُ بَيْتِي ضَيِّقٌ وَالْعَائِلَةُ رُبَّمَا إِذَا دَخَلَتْ أَقْلَقُوكَ، وَلَكِنْ خُذْ مَثَلًا مِائَةَ رِيَالٍ أَوْ مِائَتَيْنِ - حَسَبَ الْحَالِ - تَبِيتُ فِي الْفُنْدُقِ فَهَلْ يَكْفِي هَذَا أَوْ لَا يَكْفِي؟ الْجَوَابُ: لِلضَّرُورَةِ يَكْفِي، وَإِلَّا فَلَا شَكَّ أَنَّكَ إِذَا أَدْخَلْتَهُ الْبَيْتَ وَرَحَّبْتَ بِهِ وَانْطَلَقَ وَجْهُكَ مَعَهُ أَنَّهُ أَبْلَغُ فِي الْإِكْرَامِ، وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دَعَتِ الضَّرُورَةُ إِلَى مِثْلِ مَا ذَكَرْتَ فَلَا بَأْسَ، فَهَذَا نَوْعٌ مِنَ الْإِكْرَامِ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.

If your home is meant to accommodate guests, is it enough to say to someone, 'My house is small and my family might disturb you if you stay here'?
وَلَكِنْ خُذْ مَثَلًا مِائَةَ رِيَالٍ أَوْ مِائَتَيْنِ - حَسَبَ الْحَالِ - تَبِيتُ فِي الْفُنْدُقِ فَهَلْ يَكْفِي هَذَا أَوْ لَا يَكْفِي؟
Then offer them a hundred or two hundred riyals—depending on the circumstances—to stay at a hotel instead. Does that suffice?
الْجَوَابُ: لِلضَّرُورَةِ يَكْفِي، وَإِلَّا فَلَا شَكَّ أَنَّكَ إِذَا أَدْخَلْتَهُ الْبَيْتَ وَرَحَّبْتَ بِهِ وَانْطَلَقَ وَجْهُكَ مَعَهُ أَنَّهُ أَبْلَغُ فِي الْإِكْرَامِ،
The answer is that it suffices in cases of necessity. Otherwise, there is no doubt that welcoming a guest into your home with a warm, cheerful face is a far greater act of hospitality.
