وَفِي سَنَةِ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ مُلْكِهِ ابْتَدَأَ بِبِنَاءِ الْمَقْدِسِ فِيمَا ذُكِرَ ثُمَّ مَلَكَ بَعْدَهُ ابْنُهُ رَحُبْعَامُ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فِيمَا ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ جَرِيرٍ . وَقَالَ : ثُمَّ تَفَرَّقَتْ بَعْدَهُ مَمْلَكَةُ إِسْرَائِيلَ

وَفِي سَنَةِ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ مُلْكِهِ ابْتَدَأَ بِبِنَاءِ الْمَقْدِسِ فِيمَا ذُكِرَ
In the fourth year of his reign, he began building the sanctuary, as recorded.
ثُمَّ مَلَكَ بَعْدَهُ ابْنُهُ رَحُبْعَامُ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فِيمَا ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ جَرِيرٍ
His son Rehoboam succeeded him and reigned for seventeen years, as noted by Ibn Jarir.
وَقَالَ : ثُمَّ تَفَرَّقَتْ بَعْدَهُ مَمْلَكَةُ إِسْرَائِيلَ
He added that the kingdom of Israel fractured after his death.
