حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ، وَكَانَ رَامِيًا لَا يَفُوتُهُ صَيْدٌ يُرِيدُهُ، وَكَانَ يَمُرُّ بِمَجَالِسِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَيَقْضِي لَهُمْ حَوَائِجَهُمْ.

He was a marksman who never missed his target, and he would often pass by the gatherings of the Children of Israel to attend to their needs.

وَإِنْ شِئْتَ أَنْبَأْتُكَ بِصَوْمِ أُمِّهِ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتِ عِمْرَانَ، فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَصُومُ يَوْمًا وَتُفْطِرُ يَوْمَيْنِ.

وَإِنْ شِئْتَ أَنْبَأْتُكَ بِصَوْمِ النَّبِيِّ الْعَرَبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَصُومُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَيَقُولُ: إِنَّ ذَلِكَ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ.
