الدِّرَاسَةُ وَالتَّأَمُّلُ.

Study and Reflection.

أَوَّلًا: الْمُفْرَدَاتُ.

First: Vocabulary.

وَضِّحْ مَعَانِيَ الْكَلِمَاتِ الْآتِيَةِ حَسَبَ وُرُودِهَا فِي السِّيَاقِ: آيَاتٌ مِنَ الذِّكْرِ الْحَكِيمِ.

1- Clarify the meanings of the following words according to their occurrence in the context: Verses from the Wise Reminder (the Quran).

الْكَلِمَةُ، وُرُودُهَا فِي السِّيَاقِ، الْمَعْنَى.

The word, its occurrence in the context, the meaning.

حَفَفْنَاهُمَا: وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ.

Hafafnahuma: 'And We encircled them with date palms.'

نَفَرًا: أَنَا أَكْثَرُ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَأَعَزُّ نَفَرًا.

Nafaran: 'I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in number of followers.'

تَبِيدُ: قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ أَنْ تَبِيدَ هَذِهِ أَبَدًا.

Tabida: 'He said, I do not think that this will ever perish.'

زَلَقًا: فَتُصْبِحَ صَعِيدًا زَلَقًا.

Zalaqan: 'So it becomes a slippery ground.'

غَوْرًا: أَوْ يُصْبِحَ مَاؤُهَا غَوْرًا.

Ghawran: 'Or its water becomes sunk deep into the earth.'

هَشِيمًا: فَأَصْبَحَ هَشِيمًا تَذْرُوهُ الرِّيحُ.

Hashiman: 'So it became dry stubble that the wind scatters.'

اذْكُرِ الْمَعَانِيَ الَّتِي أَدَّاهَا الْفِعْلُ «ضَرَبَ» فِي سِيَاقِ الْآيَاتِ الْآتِيَةِ، مُسْتَعِينًا بِأَحَدِ التَّفَاسِيرِ:

2- Mention the meanings conveyed by the verb 'daraba' in the context of the following verses, seeking assistance from one of the interpretations (Tafsir):

الْآيَةُ، مَعْنَى (ضَرَبَ).

The verse, the meaning of (daraba).

فَاضْرِبُوا فَوْقَ الْأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُوا مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ.

'So strike above the necks and strike from them every fingertip.'

فَضَرَبْنَا عَلَى آذَانِهِمْ فِي الْكَهْفِ سِنِينَ عَدَدًا.

'So We cast a cover over their ears in the Cave for a number of years.'

وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًا.

And present to them an example of two men: We granted to one of them two gardens of grapevines, and We bordered them with palm trees and placed between them [fields of] crops.

أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُسْرِفِينَ.

Then should We turn the message away, disregarding you, because you are a transgressing people?

ثَانِيًا: الْفَهْمُ وَالتَّحْلِيلُ.

Second: Understanding and Analysis.

مَنِ الْمُخَاطَبُ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ؟
