يَا مَنْ لَهُ الْأَخْلَاقُ مَا تَهْوَى الْعُلَا مِنْهَا وَمَا يَتَعَشَّقُ الْكُبَرَاءُ. فَإِذَا سَخَوْتَ بَلَغْتَ بِالْجُودِ الْمَدَى وَفَعَلْتَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُ الْأَنْوَاءُ. الْأَنْوَاءُ الْأَمْطَارُ الشَّدِيدَةُ، وَيُقْصَدُ بِهَا الْعَطَاءُ. وَإِذَا عَفَوْتَ فَقَادِرًا وَمُقَدِّرًا، لَا يَسْتَهِينُ بِعَفْوِكَ الْجُهَلَاءُ. وَإِذَا رَحِمْتَ فَأَنْتَ أُمٌّ أَوْ أَبٌ هَذَانِ فِي الدُّنْيَا هُمَا الرُّحَمَاءُ. الْفَهْمُ وَالِاسْتِيعَابُ: عَنْ أَيِّ يَوْمٍ تَتَحَدَّثُ الْقَصِيدَةُ؟ احْتَفَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ بِمَوْلِدِ النَّبِيِّ الْكَرِيمِ، مَا مَظَاهِرُ هَذَا الِاحْتِفَاءِ؟ نُوَضِّحُ صِفَاتِ النَّبِيِّ، كَمَا وَرَدَتْ فِي الْأَبْيَاتِ. مَا الْعَاطِفَةُ الَّتِي سَيْطَرَتْ عَلَى أَبْيَاتِ الْقَصِيدَةِ؟ مَنِ الرُّحَمَاءُ فِي نَظَرِ الشَّاعِرِ؟ الْمُنَاقَشَةُ وَالتَّحْلِيلُ: كَيْفَ سَيَكُونُ الْعَالَمُ لَوْ لَمْ يُولَدْ سَيِّدُنَا مُحَمَّدٌ؟ هُنَاكَ بَيْتٌ فِيهِ إِشَارَةٌ إِلَى أَنَّ الْمَسِيحَ قَدْ بَشَّرَ بِقُدُومِ النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ، نُعَيِّنُهُ. قَالَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: «إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ لِأُتَمِّمَ مَكَارِمَ الْأَخْلَاقِ»، مَا الْبَيْتُ الَّذِي يُشِيرُ إِلَى ذَلِكَ؟ نُوَضِّحُ جَمَالَ التَّصْوِيرِ فِي الْأَبْيَاتِ الْأَوَّلِ، وَالرَّابِعِ، وَالثَّامِنِ. اللُّغَةُ وَالْأُسْلُوبُ: تَكَرَّرَتْ (إِذَا) الشَّرْطِيَّةُ فِي الْقَصِيدَةِ، نُمَثِّلُ عَلَى هَذَا الْأُسْلُوبِ بِمِثَالٍ مِنْ إِنْشَائِنَا.

- يَا مَنْ لَهُ الْأَخْلَاقُ مَا تَهْوَى الْعُلَا مِنْهَا وَمَا يَتَعَشَّقُ الْكُبَرَاءُ.
- You possess the very character that the high-minded desire and the great ones adore.
- فَإِذَا سَخَوْتَ بَلَغْتَ بِالْجُودِ الْمَدَى وَفَعَلْتَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُ الْأَنْوَاءُ.
- When you are generous, you reach the absolute limit of munificence, doing what even the heaviest rains cannot.
- الْأَنْوَاءُ الْأَمْطَارُ الشَّدِيدَةُ، وَيُقْصَدُ بِهَا الْعَطَاءُ.
- Al-Anwa' refers to heavy rains, used here as a metaphor for giving.
- وَإِذَا عَفَوْتَ فَقَادِرًا وَمُقَدِّرًا، لَا يَسْتَهِينُ بِعَفْوِكَ الْجُهَلَاءُ.
