اسْتِمْرارَ دَعْوَةِ نُوحٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ لِقَوْمِهِ تِسْعَمِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ سَنَةً.

Noah (peace be upon him) continued to call his people for nine hundred and fifty years.

دَعْوَةَ نُوحٍ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ - رَبَّهُ أَلا يُبْقِيَ عَلى الأَرْضِ مِنَ الكافِرِينَ دَيَّاراً.

Noah (peace be upon him) prayed to his Lord not to leave a single disbeliever alive on earth.

-٣- كَيْفَ ظَهَرَ اجْتِهادُ نُوحٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ فِي تَوْصِيلِ دَعْوَتِهِ لِقَوْمِهِ لِيُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ تَعالى-؟

3. How did Noah (peace be upon him) demonstrate diligence in conveying his message to his people so they would believe in God Almighty?

-٤ - فِي الآياتِ الكَرِيمَةِ إِشَارَةٌ إِلى أَصْلِ خَلْقِ الإِنْسانِ وَالبَعْثِ وَالحَشْرِ يُبَيِّنُ ذلِكَ.

4. The noble verses indicate the origin of human creation, the resurrection, and the gathering; explain this.

العِلْمُ طَرِيقٌ لِلْهِدايَةِ، وَهذا ما يُؤَكِّدُهُ الإِعْجَازُ العِلْمِيُّ فِي الآيَةِ : وَجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا (نُوح: ١٦) ، نُوَضِّحُ ذلِكَ.

Knowledge is a path to guidance, which is confirmed by the scientific miracle in the verse: 'He made the moon a light within them and made the sun a lamp' (Nuh: 16); let us clarify this.

اللُّغَةُ وَالأُسْلُوبُ : اللُّغَةُ -١- نُحاكِي الأُسْلُوبَيْنِ الآتِيَيْنِ فِي سِياقَيْنِ مِنْ إِنْشائِنا:

Language and Style: 1. We will imitate the following two styles in two original contexts:

أُسْلُوبُ الشَّرْطِ : كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ (نُوح: ٧)

Conditional style: 'Whenever I invited them that You might forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears' (Nuh: 7).

أُسْلُوبُ النَّهْيِ: لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ (نُوح: ٢٣)

Prohibitive style: 'Do not abandon your gods' (Nuh: 23).

-٢- اسْتَخْدَمَ نُوحٌ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ أُسْلُوبَ الحِوارِ وَالإِقْناعِ مَعَ قَوْمِهِ، نُوَضِّحُ أَثَرَ هذا الأُسْلُوبِ عَلَى النَّسِيجِ الاجْتِماعِيِّ فِي واقِعِنا؟

2. Noah (peace be upon him) used dialogue and persuasion with his people; let us clarify the effect of this approach on our own social fabric.

نَضَعُ دَائِرَةً حَوْلَ رَمْزِ الإِجابَةِ الصَّحِيحَةِ فِيما يَأْتِي:

B- The grammatical function of the word (a lamp) in the verse: 'And made the sun a lamp' is: 1. Second object. 2. State (Hal). 3. Absolute object. 4. Specification (Tamyeez).

ج- أَرادَ نُوحٌ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ عِنْدَ سُؤالِ قَوْمِهِ (مَا لَكُمْ لا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقاراً؟) أَنْ: ١ - يَعْرِفَ الحَقِيقَةَ . ٢ - يُنْكِرَ إِعْراضَهُمْ. ٣- يَدْعُوَ عَلَيْهِمْ. ٤ - يَتَجَنَّبَ كَيْدَهُمْ.

C- When Noah (peace be upon him) asked his people, 'What is the matter with you that you do not attribute to God due reverence?', he intended to: 1. Learn the truth. 2. Denounce their turning away. 3. Pray against them. 4. Avoid their plotting.

د- الأُسْلُوبُ اللُّغَوِيُّ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعالى: (أَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَاواتٍ طِباقاً) : ١ - نَفْيٌ. ٢ - نَهْيٌ. ٣- تَعَجُّبٌ . ٤ - اسْتِفْهامٌ .

D- The linguistic style in the verse: 'Do you not see how God created seven heavens in layers?' is: 1. Negation. 2. Prohibition. 3. Wonder. 4. Interrogative.
