بَيْنَ يَدَيِ النَّصِّ: مُحَمَّد مُصْطَفى حَمام شاعِرٌ مِصْري، قالَ هذِهِ القَصيدَةَ في أَثْناءِ تَأْدِيَتِهِ فَرِيضَةَ الحَجِّ عام ١٩٥٧م.

Introduction: Muhammad Mustafa Hammam is an Egyptian poet who wrote this poem while performing the Hajj pilgrimage in 1957.

مِنْ وَحْيِ الحَرَمَيْنِ.

Inspired by the Two Holy Mosques.

١- آنَسْتُ نُورَ اللهِ جَلَّ جَلالُهُ وَمَشَيْتُ حَيْثُ مَشى النَّبِيُّ وَآلُهُ.

1- I perceived the light of God, may His majesty be glorified, and walked where the Prophet and his family walked.

٢- وَبَلَغْتُ أَحْسَنَ ما تَمَنَّى مُسْلِمٌ وَأَعَزَّ ما يَسْمُو إِلَيْهِ خَيَالُهُ.

2- I attained the best a Muslim could wish for, and the most precious thing his imagination could aspire to.

٣- مُكِّنْتُ مِنْ حَجِّي فَلَيْسَ بِشاغِلي إِدْبارُهُ عَنِّي وَلا إِقْبالُهُ.

3- I was enabled to perform my Hajj, so my mind is no longer occupied by whether the world turns toward me or away.

٤- مَنْ يَخْتَتِمْ سَفَرَ الحَياةِ بِرَجْعَةٍ لِلَّهِ طابَ خِتامُهُ وَمَآلُهُ.

4- Whoever concludes life's path by returning to God finds his end and final destination good.

٥- يا رَبِّ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَني أَمَلي وَمَنْ آواهُ بَيْتُكَ لَمْ تَخِبْ آمالُهُ.

5- O Lord, You have granted my hope, and whoever is sheltered by Your House shall not see his hopes disappointed.

٦- أَنْزَلْتَ فِي القَلْبِ اللَّهِيفِ سَكِينَةً لا رَوْعُهُ باقٍ وَلا زِلْزالُهُ.

6- You sent tranquility into my yearning heart, leaving no room for fear or trembling.

٧- هذا الحِمَى قَدْ كُنْتُ بَعْضَ حَمامِهِ وَلِكُلِّ شادٍ فِي الوَرَى أَمْثالُهُ.

7- In this sanctuary, I was like one of its doves; every singer in this world has his peers.

٨- أَنِسَ الحَمامُ إِلَيَّ حَتَّى خِلْتُهُ لِي مِنْ كِرامِ الآلِ أَوْ أَنَا آلُهُ.

8- The dove felt so at ease with me that I imagined it to be one of my own noble kin, or me to be its own.

٩- اللهُ رَبِّي وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ راحِمٍ تُغْنِي الحَجِيجَ عَنِ الظِّلالِ ظِلالُهُ.

9- God is my Lord, the most merciful of the merciful; His shade is all the pilgrims need.

١٠- وَأَنَلْتَني شَرَفَ الطَّوافِ وَعِزَّةً سُبْحانَ رَبِّي لا يَغِيضُ نَوالُهُ.

10- You granted me the honor of circumambulation and glory; praise be to my Lord, whose bounty never wanes.

١١- يا رَبِّ أَلْزِمْنا صِراطَكَ تَنْصَرِفْ عَنَّا مَآسِي يَوْمِنا وَوَبالُهُ.

11- O Lord, keep us steadfast on Your path so that the tragedies and calamities of our time may turn away from us.

المُناقَشَةُ: ١- يُمَثِّلُ البَيْتُ الأَوَّلُ المِنْهاجَ الَّذِي يَسِيرُ عَلَيْهِ المُسْلِمُ فِي حَياتِهِ، نُوَضِّحُ ذَلِكَ.
