نَكْتُبُ البَيْتَ الشِّعْرِيَّ الآتِيَ بِخَطِّ النَّسْخِ، ثُمَّ بِخَطِّ الرُّقْعَةِ، وَنُلَاحِظُ رَسْمَ الحَرْفَيْنِ الآتِيَيْنِ.

Write the following line of poetry in Naskh script, then in Ruq'ah, and observe how the following two letters are drawn.

اصْطَفَى اللهُ أَرْضَ القَيْرَوَانِ حَيًّا كَأَنَّهُ عَبْرَانِيُّ المُسْتَهَلَّاتِ.

اصْطَفَى الدَّارِسَةَ القَيْرَوَانَ مِيًّا كَأَنَّ عَبَرَاتِي المُسْتَهَلَّاتِ.
