وَأَثْنَاءَ صُعُودِهِ إِلَى الْقِطَارِ سَقَطَتْ إِحْدَى فَرْدَتَيْ حِذَائِهِ، فَمَا كَانَ مِنْهُ إِلَّا أَنْ خَلَعَ الْفَرْدَةَ الثَّانِيَةَ، وَرَمَاهَا بِسُرْعَةٍ بِجِوَارِ الْفَرْدَةِ الْأُولَى عَلَى سِكَّةِ الْقِطَارِ.

As he boarded the train, one of his shoes fell off. He immediately took off the other and threw it onto the tracks beside the first.
