رَأَيْتُهُ، أَسْأَلُكَ، ضَرَبَنِي، كِتَابُهُ، دَفْتَرُهَا، اسْمُكَ، عَلَيْهَا، لَنَا.

I saw him, I ask you, he hit me, his book, her notebook, your name, upon it, for us.

هَذِهِ ضَمَائِرُ النَّصْبِ.

These are the accusative pronouns.

هَذِهِ ضَمَائِرُ الْجَرِّ.

These are the genitive pronouns.

أَسْمَاءُ الْإِشَارَةِ، مِثْلُ: هَذَا، هَذِهِ، ذَلِكَ، أُولَئِكَ.

Demonstrative nouns, such as: this (masc), this (fem), that, those.

هَذَانِ وَهَاتَانِ مُعْرَبَانِ.

Hadhan and Hatani are inflected.

الْأَسْمَاءُ الْمَوْصُولَةُ، مِثْلُ: الَّذِي، الَّتِي، الَّذِينَ، اللَّذَانِ وَاللَّتَانِ مُعْرَبَانِ.

Relative nouns, such as: the one who (masc), the one who (fem), those who, the two who (masc) and the two who (fem) are inflected.

أَسْمَاءُ الِاسْتِفْهَامِ، مِثْلُ: مَنْ، أَيْنَ، مَا، مَتَى، كَيْفَ.

Interrogative nouns, such as: who, where, what, when, how.

بَعْضُ الظُّرُوفِ، مِثْلُ: إِذَا، الْآنَ، حَيْثُ، أَمْسِ.

Some adverbs, such as: when, now, where, yesterday.

أَسْمَاءُ الْأَفْعَالِ، مِثْلُ: آمِينَ، أُفٍّ، آهٍ.

Verbal nouns, such as: Amen, uff (expression of annoyance), ah.

الْأَعْدَادُ الْمُرَكَّبَةُ، مِثْلُ: أَحَدَ عَشَرَ، تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ، الثَّالِثَ عَشَرَ.

Compound numbers, such as: eleven, nineteen, thirteenth.

الْجُزْءُ الْأَوَّلُ مِنْ اثْنَا عَشَرَ مُعْرَبٌ.

The first part of twelve is inflected.

يَدْرُسُ فِي الْفَصْلِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ طَالِبًا.

Twelve students study in the classroom.

رَأَيْتُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ طَالِبًا.

I saw twelve students.

هَذَا الطَّعَامُ لِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ طَالِبًا.

This food is for twelve students.
