خَاتِمَةٌ فِي السَّرِقَاتِ الشِّعْرِيَّةِ وَمَا يَتْبَعُهَا. وَقَوْلُ ابْنِ حِجَّةٍ: عَلَيْكَ سَلَامٌ نَشْرُهُ كُلَّمَا بَدَا بِهِ يَتَغَالَى الطِّيبُ وَالْمِسْكُ يُخْتَمُ. وَقَوْلُ غَيْرِهِ: مَا أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَدُومَ لَنَا لَا أَنْ تَزِيدَ مَعَالِيهِ فَقَدْ كَمُلَتْ.

مَا أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَدُومَ لَنَا لَا أَنْ تَزِيدَ مَعَالِيهِ فَقَدْ كَمُلَتْ.
I ask God only that you remain with us; I do not pray for your virtues to increase, for they are already perfect.
