أَهْدَافُ الدَّرْسِ: عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ.

Lesson Objectives: The Servants of the Most Merciful.

فِي نِهَايَةِ هَذَا الدَّرْسِ يُتَوَقَّعُ أَنْ يَكُونَ التِّلْمِيذُ قَادِرًا عَلَى أَنْ:

By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:

يُحَدِّدَ مُرَادِفَ كَلِمَاتٍ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَيْهَا.

Identify synonyms for words they have heard.

يُجِيبَ عَنْ أَسْئِلَةٍ تُطْرَحُ عَلَيْهِ.

Answer questions asked of them.

يَتْلُوَ الْآيَاتِ الْقُرْآنِيَّةَ تِلَاوَةً صَحِيحَةً.

Recite the Quranic verses accurately.

يُحَدِّدَ أَغْرَاضَ الْأَمْرِ وَالنَّهْيِ وَالِاسْتِفْهَامِ.

Identify the purposes of commands, prohibitions, and interrogations.

يَتَعَرَّفَ الْمُنَادَى وَأَنْوَاعَهُ.

Recognize the vocative case and its types.

يُقَدِّرَ عِبَادَ الرَّحْمَنِ.

Show appreciation for the servants of the Most Merciful.

يَتَعَرَّفَ مَوَاطِنَ كِتَابَةِ الْهَمْزَةِ الْمُتَوَسِّطَةِ.

Identify the correct spelling of the medial hamza.

يَكْتُبَ نَمُوذَجًا بِخَطَّيْ: النَّسْخِ وَالرُّقْعَةِ.

Write a sample in both Naskh and Ruq'ah scripts.

كَيْفَ يُمْكِنُنَا اكْتِسَابُ صِفَاتِ عِبَادِ الرَّحْمَنِ؟

How can we adopt the qualities of the servants of the Most Merciful?

اسْتَمِعْ ثُمَّ تَحَدَّثْ:

Listen and then speak:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ.

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا.

The servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth with humility, and when the ignorant address them, they respond with words of peace.

وَالَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَامًا.

They are those who spend the night in prayer to their Lord, prostrating and standing.

وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا.

They are those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell, for its punishment is inescapable.

إِنَّهَا سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا.

It is indeed an evil place to settle and reside."

وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنْفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَوَامًا.

When they spend, they are neither extravagant nor stingy, but maintain a just balance between the two.

وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا.

They are those who do not invoke any other deity alongside Allah, do not kill a soul that Allah has forbidden except by right, and do not commit adultery. Whoever does these things will face the penalty.

يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا.

Their punishment will be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and they will abide therein in humiliation.

إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُولَئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا.

Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous work; for them, Allah will replace their evil deeds with good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
