أَبْنَاءَنَا وَبَنَاتِنَا طُلَّابَ الصَّفِّ الأَوَّلِ الإِعْدَادِيِّ.

To our sons and daughters, students in the first year of middle school.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ نَبْدَأُ، وَعَلَى طَرِيقِ الْعِلْمِ نَسِيرُ.

In the name of Allah, we begin, and on the path of knowledge, we walk.

وَفِي رِحَابِ لُغَتِنَا الْعَرَبِيَّةِ الْخَالِدَةِ نَنْهَلُ مِنْ مَنْبَعِهَا الْعَذْبِ، وَنَسْتَنْشِقُ عَبِيرَهَا، وَنَنْعَمُ بِجَمَالِهَا.

Within the expanse of our timeless Arabic language, we draw from its sweet source, breathe in its fragrance, and enjoy its beauty.

يَأْتِي هَذَا الْكِتَابُ ثَمَرَةَ جُهْدٍ تَرْبَوِيٍّ وَبَحْثِيٍّ دَءُوبٍ.

This book is the fruit of diligent educational and research efforts.

رُوعِيَ فِيهِ أَنْ يَكُونَ رَفِيقًا لِلطَّالِبِ فِي مَرْحَلَةٍ مِنْ أَهَمِّ مَرَاحِلِ تَكْوِينِهِ الْعَقْلِيِّ وَالْوِجْدَانِيِّ.

We designed it to be a companion to the student during one of the most important stages of their mental and emotional development.

لِذَلِكَ حَرَصْنَا عَلَى أَنْ يَكُونَ الْمَنْهَجُ مُتَدَرِّجَ الْبِنَاءِ، مُتَرَابِطَ الْمَوْضُوعَاتِ، يُلَبِّي احْتِيَاجَاتِ الْمُتَعَلِّمِ وَيَسْتَجِيبُ لِمُتَطَلَّبَاتِ الْعَصْرِ.

Therefore, we ensured the curriculum is structured progressively, with interconnected topics that meet the learner's needs and respond to the demands of the modern era.

الْوَحْدَةُ الأُولَى: "حِمَايَةُ الْوَطَنِ".

Unit One: "Protecting the Homeland."

تُؤَكِّدُ هَذِهِ الْوَحْدَةُ أَنَّهُ بِالْوَعْيِ تَتَحَصَّنُ الأَوْطَانُ وَأَنَّ حِمَايَتَهَا لَا تَكُونُ بِالْكَلِمَاتِ، بَلْ بِالتَّضْحِيَاتِ وَبِالْعَمَلِ الْجَادِّ وَبِالْمَشَارِيعِ الْعِمْلَاقَةِ لِنَكْتُبَ فُصُولَ مَجْدِ مِصْرَ، وَنُثْبِتَ أَنَّ الإِخْلَاصَ وَالْوَعْيَ هُمَا سِرُّ الْبَقَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ.

This unit emphasizes that awareness is the true fortification of a nation, and that protecting it requires more than just words—it demands sacrifice, hard work, and monumental projects. Through these, we write the chapters of Egypt's glory and prove that sincerity and awareness are the secrets to survival and greatness.

الْوَحْدَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ: "مَفَاتِيحُ النَّجَاحِ".

Unit Two: "Keys to Success."

تُعَلِّمُكَ هَذِهِ الْوَحْدَةُ أَنَّ النَّجَاحَ لَهُ مَفَاتِيحُ عِدَّةٌ، أَوَّلُهَا الإِيمَانُ بِالْفِكْرَةِ، وَالإِصْرَارُ عَلَى تَحْقِيقِهَا، ثُمَّ الْعَمَلُ الدَّءُوبُ الَّذِي يَفْتَحُ أَبْوَابَ التَّمَيُّزِ.

This unit teaches you that success has several keys: first, faith in your idea; second, persistence in achieving it; and finally, the diligent work that opens the doors to excellence.

وَتُقَدِّمُ لَكَ نَمُوذَجًا لِعَالِمٍ رَائِدٍ خَلَّدَ اسْمَهُ فِي تَارِيخِ الْبَشَرِيَّةِ؛ لِتَسْتَوْحِيَ مِنْ سِيرَتِهِ طَرِيقَكَ نَحْوَ النَّجَاحِ وَرِيَادَةِ الأَعْمَالِ.

It presents the model of a pioneering scientist who left an indelible mark on human history, inviting you to draw inspiration from his life as you pursue your own path toward success and entrepreneurship.

الْوَحْدَةُ الثَّالِثَةُ: "عَالَمِي الرَّقْمِيُّ".

Unit Three: "My Digital World."

تُفْتَحُ لَكَ فِي هَذِهِ الْوَحْدَةِ أَبْوَابُ الْعَالَمِ الرَّقْمِيِّ؛ لِتَتَعَلَّمَ كَيْفَ تُسَخَّرُ التَّقْنِيَةُ فِي تَعْلِيمِكَ وَحَيَاتِكَ مَعَ الْحِفَاظِ عَلَى قِيَمِكَ وَهُوِيَّتِكَ.

This unit opens the doors to the digital world, teaching you how to harness technology in your education and life while remaining grounded in your values and identity.

وَتَتَعَرَّفُ الذَّكَاءَ الاصْطِنَاعِيَّ، وَمَا لَهُ مِنْ إِيجَابِيَّاتٍ تُسَاعِدُ الإِنْسَانَ عَلَى الإِبْدَاعِ، وَسَلْبِيَّاتٍ تَسْتَدْعِي الْحَذَرَ وَالْوَعْيَ فِي الاسْتِعْمَالِ؛ لِنُحْسِنَ تَوْجِيهَهُ نَحْوَ الْخَيْرِ وَالتَّقَدُّمِ.

You will explore artificial intelligence, learning both its potential for human creativity and the risks that require caution and awareness, so that we may guide its development toward progress and the common good.

كُلُّ مَوْضُوعٍ طُرِحَ فِيهِ نَمَاذِجُ وَطَنِيَّةٌ وَعَرَبِيَّةٌ تُعَزِّزُ الانْتِمَاءَ وَالْفَخْرَ بِمِصْرِيَّتِكَ وَعُرُوبَتِكَ.

Every topic presented features national and Arab figures who reinforce your sense of belonging and pride in your Egyptian and Arab identity.

كَمَا جَاءَتِ النُّصُوصُ الشِّعْرِيَّةُ مُلَائِمَةً لِلْقِيَمِ الْمُتَضَمَّنَةِ فِي كُلِّ وَحْدَةٍ لِتَسْمُوَ بِالْوِجْدَانِ وَتُرْهِفَ الْحِسَّ عِنْدَ الطُّلَّابِ.

The poetic texts have been selected to align with the values of each unit, aiming to elevate the spirit and refine the sensibilities of our students.

وَأُثْرِيَ الْكِتَابُ بِأَنْشِطَةٍ وَتَقْيِيمَاتٍ مُتَنَوِّعَةٍ، وَأَسْئِلَةٍ تَقِيسُ الْفَهْمَ وَالتَّحْلِيلَ وَالتَّذَوُّقَ، صِيغَتْ بِعِنَايَةٍ لِتُخَاطِبَ أَنْمَاطًا مُتَعَدِّدَةً مِنَ الْمُتَعَلِّمِينَ، وَتُسَاعِدَهُمْ عَلَى تَرْسِيخِ الْمَهَارَاتِ اللُّغَوِيَّةِ وَالتَّعْبِيرِيَّةِ، وَتَنْمِيَةِ التَّفْكِيرِ النَّقْدِيِّ وَالإِبْدَاعِيِّ.

We hope we have succeeded in presenting a work that meets Egypt's aspirations to build a thoughtful, creative generation, dedicated to exerting its utmost effort in building a better future for the homeland.
