الْوَحْدَةُ الْأُولَى: أَخْلَاقِي تَصْنَعُ عَالَمِي. هَلْ فَكَّرْتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَنْشُرَ؟ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ لِلْكَلِمَاتِ قُوَّةً كَبِيرَةً؟ فَقَدْ تَجْعَلُنَا فِي أَفْضَلِ حَالَاتِنَا، وَقَدْ تُؤْذِينَا أَوْ تَجْرَحُنَا، فَهَلْ فَكَّرْتَ يَوْمًا فِي تَأْثِيرِ كَلِمَاتِكَ فِي نُفُوسِ الْآخَرِينَ؟ سَأَحْكِي بَعْضَ الْحِكَايَاتِ الْحَقِيقِيَّةِ، وَلْنُفَكِّرْ مَعًا: مَاذَا يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِنَا الْكَلِمَاتُ؟ كَانَتْ هُنَاكَ طِفْلَةٌ فِي السَّادِسَةِ مِنْ عُمْرِهَا تَخَافُ كَثِيرًا مِنَ الْفَرَاشَاتِ، وَتَبْكِي كُلَّمَا اقْتَرَبَتْ إِحْدَاهَا مِنْ شَعْرِهَا، وَذَاتَ يَوْمٍ قَالَتْ لَهَا أُمُّهَا بِلُطْفٍ: «هَلْ تَعْلَمِينَ أَنَّ الْفَرَاشَاتِ تُحِبُّ الزُّهُورَ الْجَمِيلَةَ؟ إِنَّهَا لَا تَقِفُ إِلَّا عَلَى الْأَشْيَاءِ الرَّائِعَةِ، وَشَعْرُكِ جَمِيلٌ مِثْلُ الزُّهُورِ؛ لِذَلِكَ تُحَاوِلُ الْفَرَاشَاتُ الْوُقُوفَ عَلَيْهِ». ضَحِكَتِ الْفَتَاةُ مِنْ قَلْبِهَا، وَمُنْذُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ أَحَبَّتِ الْفَرَاشَاتِ، وَأَحَبَّتْ شَعْرَهَا أَيْضًا.

- كَانَتْ هُنَاكَ طِفْلَةٌ فِي السَّادِسَةِ مِنْ عُمْرِهَا تَخَافُ كَثِيرًا مِنَ الْفَرَاشَاتِ، وَتَبْكِي كُلَّمَا اقْتَرَبَتْ إِحْدَاهَا مِنْ شَعْرِهَا.
- There was a six-year-old girl who was terrified of butterflies; she would cry whenever one came near her hair.
- وَذَاتَ يَوْمٍ قَالَتْ لَهَا أُمُّهَا بِلُطْفٍ: «هَلْ تَعْلَمِينَ أَنَّ الْفَرَاشَاتِ تُحِبُّ الزُّهُورَ الْجَمِيلَةَ؟»
- One day, her mother said to her gently, "Did you know that butterflies love beautiful flowers?"
- «إِنَّهَا لَا تَقِفُ إِلَّا عَلَى الْأَشْيَاءِ الرَّائِعَةِ، وَشَعْرُكِ جَمِيلٌ مِثْلُ الزُّهُورِ؛ لِذَلِكَ تُحَاوِلُ الْفَرَاشَاتُ الْوُقُوفَ عَلَيْهِ».
- "They only land on wonderful things, and your hair is as beautiful as a flower, which is why they try to land on it."
- ضَحِكَتِ الْفَتَاةُ مِنْ قَلْبِهَا، وَمُنْذُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ أَحَبَّتِ الْفَرَاشَاتِ، وَأَحَبَّتْ شَعْرَهَا أَيْضًا.
