وَثَغْرُهُ فِي صَفَاءٍ وَأَدْمُعٍ كَاللَّآلِ. وَالثَّانِي: مَا لَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ نَحْوَ النَّحْوِ فِي الْكَلَامِ كَالْمِلْحِ فِي الطَّعَامِ. الْجُودُ. وَيَنْقَسِمُ بِاعْتِبَارِ أَدَاتِهِ إِلَى: مُؤَكَّدٌ، وَهُوَ مَا حُذِفَتْ أَدَاتُهُ نَحْوَ هُوَ بَحْرٌ فِي الْجُودِ، وَمُرْسَلٌ، وَهُوَ مَا لَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ، نَحْوَ: هُوَ كَالْبَحْرِ كَرَمًا. وَمِنَ الْمُؤَكَّدِ مَا أُضِيفَ فِيهِ الْمُشَبَّهُ بِهِ إِلَى الْمُشَبَّهِ نَحْوَ: وَالرِّيحُ تَعْبَثُ بِالْغُصُونِ وَقَدْ جَرَى ذَهَبُ الْأَصِيلِ عَلَى لُجَيْنِ الْمَاءِ.

His smile is clear, and his tears are like pearls.
وَالثَّانِي: مَا لَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ نَحْوَ النَّحْوِ فِي الْكَلَامِ كَالْمِلْحِ فِي الطَّعَامِ.
