شَرْحُ رِيَاضِ الصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ كَلَامِ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. وَعُلِمَ مِنْ قَوْلِ الرَّسُولِ: «اتَّقُوا اللهَ وَاعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَوْلَادِكُمْ» أَنَّ غَيْرَ الْأَوْلَادِ مِنَ الْأَقَارِبِ لَا يَجِبُ الْعَدْلُ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَلَكَ أَنْ تُعْطِيَ إِخْوَانَكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الْآخَرِينَ، أَوْ تُعْطِيَهُمْ وَتَحْرِمَ الْآخَرِينَ؛ لِأَنَّ النَّصَّ إِنَّمَا وَرَدَ فِي الْأَوْلَادِ فَقَطْ، وَأَمَّا قَوْلُ بَعْضِ الْعُلَمَاءِ رَحِمَهُمُ اللهُ: «إِنَّهُ يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ الْعَدْلُ بَيْنَ جَمِيعِ الْوَرَثَةِ بِقَدْرِ مِيرَاثِهِمْ» فَهَذَا قَوْلٌ لَا دَلِيلَ عَلَيْهِ، وَالْعَدْلُ إِنَّمَا يَجِبُ بَيْنَ الْأَوْلَادِ فَقَطْ، وَاللهُ الْمُوَفِّقُ.

A commentary on Riyadh al-Salihin, drawn from the words of the Master of Messengers, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
وَعُلِمَ مِنْ قَوْلِ الرَّسُولِ: «اتَّقُوا اللهَ وَاعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَوْلَادِكُمْ» أَنَّ غَيْرَ الْأَوْلَادِ مِنَ الْأَقَارِبِ لَا يَجِبُ الْعَدْلُ بَيْنَهُمْ،
The Prophet’s command, "Fear Allah and treat your children justly," implies that such strict equality is not required among other relatives.
فَلَكَ أَنْ تُعْطِيَ إِخْوَانَكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الْآخَرِينَ، أَوْ تُعْطِيَهُمْ وَتَحْرِمَ الْآخَرِينَ؛ لِأَنَّ النَّصَّ إِنَّمَا وَرَدَ فِي الْأَوْلَادِ فَقَطْ،
