شَرْحُ رِيَاضِ الصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ كَلَامِ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

An explanation of Riyad al-Salihin (The Meadows of the Righteous) from the words of the Master of the Messengers, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him.

وَالْكَرَامَاتُ كَثِيرَةٌ ذَكَرَ الْمُؤَلِّفُ مِنْهَا مَا ذُكِرَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ، وَذَكَرَ أَيْضًا أَشْيَاءَ مُتَفَرِّقَةً فِي هَذَا الْكِتَابِ.

Miracles are numerous. The author has included some in this chapter and scattered others throughout the rest of the book.

قَالَ شَيْخُ الْإِسْلَامِ ابْنُ تَيْمِيَّةَ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ: مِنْ عَقِيدَةِ أَهْلِ السُّنَّةِ وَالْجَمَاعَةِ التَّصْدِيقُ بِكَرَامَاتِ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ، وَمَا يُجْرِي اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَلَى أَيْدِيهِمْ مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْعُلُومِ وَالْمُكَاشَفَاتِ، وَالْقُدْرَةِ وَالتَّأْثِيرَاتِ (١).

Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, stated: 'It is a tenet of the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah to believe in the miracles of the saints, and in the knowledge, revelations, power, and influence that Allah, the Exalted and Glorified, manifests through them.'
