أَنْ تُوقِظَ أَهْلَكَ مَعَكَ، لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ يَكُونُ أَهْلُكَ لَيْسُوا مِثْلَكَ فِي النَّشَاطِ الْبَدَنِيِّ، أَوْ فِي النَّشَاطِ النَّفْسِيِّ، فَلَا تُوقِظْهُمْ مَعَكَ، فَلَيْسَ بِلَازِمٍ إِلَّا إِذَا رَأَيْتَ أَنَّهُمْ يَرْغَبُونَ،

Wake your family to join you, but keep in mind that they may not share your physical or mental stamina. Do not force them to wake if they lack the desire, as it is not strictly required.

وَلَكِنْ لَا تَنْسَهُمْ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ، يَقُومُونَ وَلَوْ لِلْوِتْرِ، كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ. نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ مِمَّنْ يَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ، وَيَصُومُ النَّهَارَ، وَيَعْبُدُ رَبَّهُ حَقَّ عِبَادَتِهِ.

Do not forget to involve them in the final part of the night, encouraging them to pray at least the Witr, just as the Messenger of Allah used to do.

نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ مِمَّنْ يَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ، وَيَصُومُ النَّهَارَ، وَيَعْبُدُ رَبَّهُ حَقَّ عِبَادَتِهِ.

We ask Allah to count us and you among those who stand in prayer at night, fast by day, and worship their Lord as He truly deserves to be worshipped.
