بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِالْمُحَافَظَةِ عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ وَالنَّهْيِ الْأَكِيدِ وَالْوَعِيدِ الشَّدِيدِ فِي تَرْكِهِنَّ. النَّوَافِلُ يَزْدَادُ بِهَا أَجْرُ الْمُصَلِّي وَيُكْمَلُ بِهَا النَّقْصُ الَّذِي حَصَلَ فِي الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَفْرُوضَةِ، وَهَذِهِ مِنْ نِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُعِينَنا وَإِيَّاكُمْ عَلَى ذِكْرِهِ وَشُكْرِهِ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِهِ.

Chapter on the command to maintain the obligatory prayers and the emphatic prohibition and severe threat regarding abandoning them.
النَّوَافِلُ يَزْدَادُ بِهَا أَجْرُ الْمُصَلِّي وَيُكْمَلُ بِهَا النَّقْصُ الَّذِي حَصَلَ فِي الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَفْرُوضَةِ،
The supererogatory prayers increase the reward of the worshipper and complete the deficiency that occurred in the obligatory prayers.
وَهَذِهِ مِنْ نِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُعِينَنا وَإِيَّاكُمْ عَلَى ذِكْرِهِ وَشُكْرِهِ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِهِ.
This is from the blessing of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic; we ask Allah to help us and you in His remembrance, His gratitude, and the excellence of His worship.
