شَرْحُ رِيَاضِ الصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ كَلَامِ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالِفْ تُذْكَرْ، فَهُوَ إِنْ شَذَّ وَخَالَفَ وَأَتَى بِمَا هُوَ مُخَالِفٌ لِلدَّلِيلِ وَرَأْيِ الْجُمْهُورِ، ثُمَّ يَشْتَهِرُ بِهَذَا، وَقَدْ شَبَّهَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الشَّاذَّ عَنِ الْجَمَاعَةِ بِالْقَاصِيَةِ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ يَأْكُلُهَا الذِّئْبُ وَاللَّهُ الْمُوَفِّقُ.

A Commentary on Riyadh as-Salihin, drawn from the words of the Master of Messengers, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
خَالِفْ تُذْكَرْ، فَهُوَ إِنْ شَذَّ وَخَالَفَ وَأَتَى بِمَا هُوَ مُخَالِفٌ لِلدَّلِيلِ وَرَأْيِ الْجُمْهُورِ، ثُمَّ يَشْتَهِرُ بِهَذَا، وَقَدْ شَبَّهَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الشَّاذَّ عَنِ الْجَمَاعَةِ بِالْقَاصِيَةِ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ يَأْكُلُهَا الذِّئْبُ
Be contrary if you wish to be noticed. When a person deviates and defies established evidence and the consensus of the majority, they may gain notoriety for it. The Prophet, peace be upon him, likened the one who breaks away from the community to a stray sheep that falls prey to the wolf.
وَاللَّهُ الْمُوَفِّقُ.
Allah is the Grantor of success.
