بَابُ ثَنَاءِ النَّاسِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ. شَيْخُ الْإِسْلَامِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ حَدِيثُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الَّذِي رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ أَنَّ الرَّسُولَ قَالَ: «مَنْ شَهِدَ لَهُ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَاثْنَانِ» ثُمَّ لَمْ يَسْأَلُوهُ عَنِ الْوَاحِدِ. نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى أَنْ يَجْعَلَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ الْمُحَرَّمِينَ عَلَى النَّارِ.

- Sheikh al-Islam—may Allah have mercy on him—cited the hadith narrated by al-Bukhari from Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, in which the Messenger said, "Whoever has four, three, or two people testify on his behalf," though they did not ask him about a single witness.
- نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى أَنْ يَجْعَلَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ الْمُحَرَّمِينَ عَلَى النَّارِ.
