بَابُ الْإِنْفَاقِ مِمَّا يُحِبُّ وَمِنَ الْجَيِّدِ. فَالْحَاصِلُ: أَنَّ الصَّحَابَةَ وَذَوِي الْهِمَمِ الْعَالِيَةِ هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَ قَدْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَقَدْرَ الْمَالِ، وَأَنَّ مَا قَدَّمُوهُ هُوَ الْبَاقِي، وَمَا أَبْقَوْهُ هُوَ الْفَانِي، نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُعِيدَنَا وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنَ الشُّحِّ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

Chapter: Giving away what you love and what is of high quality.
فَالْحَاصِلُ: أَنَّ الصَّحَابَةَ وَذَوِي الْهِمَمِ الْعَالِيَةِ هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَ قَدْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَقَدْرَ الْمَالِ،
In short, the Companions and those of noble ambition truly understand the worth of this world and the value of wealth.
وَأَنَّ مَا قَدَّمُوهُ هُوَ الْبَاقِي، وَمَا أَبْقَوْهُ هُوَ الْفَانِي،
What they gave away is what endures, while what they kept for themselves is what fades away.
