بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
بِسْمِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ، وَصَلَاتُهُ وَسَلَامُهُ عَلَى خِتَامِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَإِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ ،
وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ ، وَلَا عُدْوَانَ إِلَّا عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ .
أَمَّا
بَعْدُ ؛ فَهَذِهِ خُلَاصَةٌ مُوجَزَةٌ فِيمَا أَغْفَلَهُ صَاحِبُ الْخُلَاصَةِ ( الْأَلْفِيَّةِ )
أَوْ أَجْمَلَ الْقَوْلَ فِيهِ إِجْمَالًا مِنْ تَصْرِيفِ الْأَفْعَالِ ، عَمِلْتُهَا لِقَارِئِي شَرْحِ بَهَاءِ الدِّينِ
ابْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، حِينَ
حَقَّقْتُ مَبَاحِثَهُ ، وَشَرَحْتُ شَوَاهِدَهُ ، وَتَرَكْتُ تَفْصِيلَ الْقَوْلِ
وَالْإِسْهَابَ فِيهِ لِكِتَابِي ( دُرُوسِ التَّصْرِيفِ ) الَّذِي صَنَّفْتُهُ لِطُلَّابِ كُلِّيَّةِ
اللُّغَةِ الْعَرَبِيَّةِ فِي الْجَامِعِ الْأَزْهَرِ ؛ فَقَدْ أَوْدَعْتُهُ أَكْثَرَ مَا تَفَرَّقَ فِي كُتُبِ الْفَنِّ
بِأُسْلُوبٍ بَدِيعٍ ، وَنِظَامٍ أَنِيقٍ ، وَتَحْقِيقٍ بَارِعٍ . وَمِنَ
اللَّهِ أَسْتَمِدُّ الْعَوْنَةَ ، وَهُوَ حَسْبِي ، وَبِهِ أَعْتَصِمُ ؟

- In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ، وَصَلَاتُهُ وَسَلَامُهُ عَلَى خِتَامِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَإِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ ، وَلَا عُدْوَانَ إِلَّا عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ
- Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and His prayers and peace be upon the seal of the messengers and the leader of the pious, and upon his family, his companions, and the followers, and there is no hostility except against the oppressors.

- Now then; this is a brief summary of what the author of the Summary (the Alfiyyah) neglected or summarized in speech regarding the morphology of verbs, which I prepared for the reader of Baha' al-Din Ibn Aqil's commentary, when I verified its topics, explained its evidences, and left the detailing of the speech and the prolixity therein for my book (Lessons in Morphology) which I compiled for the students of the College of Arabic Language at Al-Azhar Mosque; for I have deposited in it most of what was scattered in the books of the art with a wondrous style, an elegant system, and a skilled verification.
