مَلْحُوظَاتِي. حُبُّ الْوَطَنِ. هَلْ حَقًّا لَا يَصِحُّ لِلشَّاعِرِ الْكَلَامُ عِنْدَ الْبَلَدِ الْحَرَامِ؟ وَلِمَاذَا؟ ج مَا الْقِيمَةُ الْعَظِيمَةُ الَّتِي تُسْتَخْلَصُ مِمَّا سَبَقَ؟ مَا الْفِكْرَةُ الرَّئِيسَةُ الَّتِي يَنْدَرِجُ تَحْتَهَا مَا وَرَدَ فِي الْفِقَرَاتِ السَّابِقَةِ؟ أَشْرَحُ مَا يَلِي شَرْحًا أَدَبِيًّا: أَمَامَكَ حَبْكَةُ النَّجْوَى هُلَامٌ وَعِنْدَكَ لَا يَصِحُّ لِي الْكَلَامُ. لِأَنَّكَ قِبْلَةُ الدُّنْيَا، وَإِنِّي أُجِلُّكَ، وَالْجَلِيلُ لَهُ احْتِرَامٌ.
