النشيد الوَطَنِي

National Anthem

حَضْرَة صَاحِب السُّمُوّ الشَّيْخ تَمِيم بْن حَمَد آل ثَانِي أَمِير دَوْلَة قَطَر.

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar

قَسَمًا بِمَنْ رَفَعَ السَّمَاءَ، قَسَمًا بِمَنْ نَشَرَ الضِّيَاءَ.

I swear by Him who raised the heavens, I swear by Him who spread the light.

قَطَرٌ سَتَبْقَى حُرَّةً، تَسْمُو بِرُوحِ الْأَوْفِيَاءِ.

Qatar shall remain free, exalted by the spirit of the loyal.

سِيرُوا عَلَى نَهْجِ الْأُلَى وَعَلَى ضِيَاءِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ.

Follow the path of those who came before, guided by the light of the prophets.

قَطَرٌ بِقَلْبِي سِيرَةٌ، عِزٌّ وَأَمْجَادُ الْإِبَاءِ.

Qatar lives in my heart as a legacy of glory and noble defiance.

قَطَرُ الرِّجَالِ الْأَوَّلِينَ، حُمَاتُنَا يَوْمَ النِّدَاءِ.

Qatar of the pioneers, our protectors when the call to duty sounds.

وَحَمَائِمٌ يَوْمَ السَّلَامِ، جَوَارِحٌ يَوْمَ الْفِدَاءِ.

Doves in times of peace, yet fierce birds of prey when the day of sacrifice arrives.
