الْوَحْدَةُ الْأُولَى: الدِّرَاسَةُ وَالتَّذَوُّقُ.

Unit One: Study and Appreciation.

أَوَّلًا: لُغَةُ النَّصِّ.

First: Language of the Text.

هَاتِ مَعْنَى الْكَلِمَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ تَحْتَهُمَا خَطٌّ فِيمَا يَأْتِي، ثُمَّ ضَعْهُمَا فِي سِيَاقَيْنِ جَدِيدَيْنِ:

1- Provide the meaning of the two underlined words in the following, then place them in two new contexts:

الْعِبَارَةُ: وَهِيَ الَّتِي تَسْهَرُ عَلَيْهِمْ لَيْلَهَا وَتَكْلَؤُهُمْ نَهَارَهَا.

The phrase: She is the one who stays up for them at night and protects them during the day.

وَتَحْتَمِلُ جَمِيعَ آلَامِ الْحَيَاةِ وَأَرْزَائَهَا فِي سَبِيلِهِمْ.

And she bears all the pains and afflictions of life for their sake.
