يَزْخَرُ تاريخُنا الإِسْلامِيُّ بِشَخْصِيَّاتٍ عَبْقَرِيَّةٍ خالِدَةٍ بِأَقْوالِها، وَأَفْعالِها، وَمَواقِفِها، وَآثَارِها.

وَمِنْ أَشْهَرِها خالِدُ بنُ الوَلِيدِ البَطَلُ الأَلْمَعِيُّ المُسْلِمُ، صاحِبُ العَبْقَرِيَّةِ العَسْكَرِيَّةِ الفَريدَةِ، وَالشَّخْصِيَّةِ المُدَرَّبَةِ القَوِيَّةِ الَّذي نَشَأَ في مَيادينِ الشَّجاعَةِ، فَخَبُرَ أَساليبَ النِّزالِ، وَأَتْقَنَ أُصولَ الفُرُوسِيَّةِ النَّبيلَةِ، وَعَرَفَ طَريقَ الحَقِّ وَالهِدايَةِ، فَالْتَزَمَها.
