نَدَمُ حِصانٍ. بَيْنَ يَدَي النَّصِّ: قَبْلَ أَنْ نُقَرِّرَ أَمْراً عَلَيْنا أَنْ نَدْرُسَ عَواقِبَهُ، خاصَّةً إِذا كانَ الأَمْرُ يَتَعَلَّقُ بِحُرِّيَّتِنا وَكَرامَتِنا، فَلَيْسَ بِالأَكْلِ وَحْدَهُ يَحْيا الإِنْسانُ، وَقِصَّةُ هذا الحِصانِ الَّتِي سَنَقْرَؤُها فيها دُروسٌ لَنا - مَعْشَرَ البَشَرِ، وَالنَّصُّ الَّذي بَيْنَ أَيْدينا لِلأَديبِ السُّورِيِّ المُعاصِرِ زَكَرِيَّا تامر مِنْ مَجْمُوعَتِهِ القَصَصِيَّةِ (لِماذا سَكَتَ النَّهْرُ؟).
