تُغَنِّي، وَنَحْفَظ: كَرَّسْتُ وَقْتي كَرَّسْتُ وَقْتِي لِلْعَمَل وَأَضَأْتُ قَلْبِي بِالأَمَـلْ وَحَمَلْتُ أَحْمالاً ثقـا لاً بَعْضُها لا يُحْتَمَلْ النَّاسُ مِلْءَ جُفونِهِمْ ناموا وَجَفْني لَمْ يَزَلْ وَلَكُمْ سَهِرْتُ مِنَ اللَّيا لي دونَ عَجْرٍ أَوْ مَلَـلْ وَلَكُمْ شَعَرْتُ بِلَذَّةٍ كُبرى إِذا عَمَلى اكْتَمَلْ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ السَّعْدَنِي ٣٦

She sings, and we memorize: I dedicated my time, I dedicated my time to work, and I lit my heart with hope, and I carried heavy burdens, some of which are unbearable. People slept with their eyelids full, and my eyelid has not yet closed. And how many nights I stayed up for you, without inability or boredom.
