نُغَنِّي، وَنَحْفَظُ: كَرَّسْتُ وَقْتِي كَرَّسْتُ وَقْتِي لِلْعَمَلِ وَحَمَلْتُ أَحْمَالًا ثِقَالًا النَّاسُ مِلْءُ جُفُونِهِمْ وَلَكَمْ سَهِرْتُ مِنَ اللَّيَالِي وَلَكَمْ شَعَرْتُ بِلَذَّةٍ وَأَضَاءَتْ قَلْبِي بِالْأَمَلِ لَا بَعْضُهَا لَا يُحْتَمَلُ نَامُوا وَجَفْنِي لَمْ يَزَلْ لِي دُونَ عُجْزٍ أَوْ مَلَلٍ كُبْرَى إِذَا عَمَلِي اكْتَمَلَ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ السَّعْدَنِي

We sing and we memorize:
كَرَّسْتُ وَقْتِي لِلْعَمَلِ وَأَضَاءَتْ قَلْبِي بِالْأَمَلِ.
I dedicated my time to work, and hope lit up my heart.
وَحَمَلْتُ أَحْمَالًا ثِقَالًا لَا بَعْضُهَا لَا يُحْتَمَلُ.
I carried heavy burdens, some of them unbearable.
