نَقْرَأُ: فِي قَرْيَتِنا عُرْسٌ ما أَجْمَلَ الأَعْرَاسَ فِي قَرْيَتِنا الْجَمِيلَةِ الْوادِعَةِ فَفِي الْعُرْسِ نَشْتَرِكُ جَميعاً، نُقِيمُ الْعُرْسَ في السَّاحَةِ العامَّةِ الْكَبِيرَةِ، وَقَدْ صَحِبَنا أَبي ذاتَ لَيْلَةٍ أَنا وَأُخْتِيَ الصَّغِيرَةَ تالا إلى سَهْرَةِ عَريس، كانَ الْمَكانُ قَدْ أُعِدَّ جَيِّداً لاسْتِقْبَالِ الْمَدْعُوِّينَ: الْمَسْرَحُ، وَالْكَراسي، وَمُكَبِّراتُ الصَّوْتِ، وَالإِنارَةُ . دَخَلَ الْعَرِيسُ مَحْمولاً على الأكتافِ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ الْحاضِرونَ بِالْغِناءِ وَالْمَواويل والأهازيج الشَّعْبِيَّةِ ، تَحَلَّقَ الْحاضِرونَ حَوْلَ الْعَرِيسِ، وَأَخَذُوا يُرَدِّدُونَ: "عريسنا زين الشباب، زين الشباب عريسنا" شارَكَتْ فِرْقَةُ الدَّبْكَةِ الشَّعْبِيَّةِ مِنْ قَرْيَتِنا فِي الْعُرْسِ، كانَ كُلُّ عُضْوِ فِي الْفِرْقَةِ يَلْبَسُ الْقُمْبارَ وَالْكُوفِيَّةَ ، فَاسْتَمْتَعَ النَّاسُ وَهُمْ يُشاهِدونَ تُراثَنَا الشَّعْبِيَّ، وَأَلْوانَ الدَّبْكَةِ، عَلَى أَنْعَامِ الشَّبَابَةِ وَالْيَرْغول. وفي الجِهَةِ المُقابِلَةِ، كانَتِ النِّسَاءُ يُغَنينَ، وَيُزَغْرِدْنَ، وَيُشارِكْنَ فِي الدَّبْكَةِ الشَّعْبِيَّةِ، وَيُشارِكْنَ فِي حِنَّاءِ العَروسِ، وَبَعْدَ انْتِهاءِ السَّهْرَةِ، تَجَمَّعَ أَهالي العريس، وَأَهالي العَروسِ، وَبَدَوُوا يُشارِكونَ في الدَّبْكَةِ الشَّعْبِيَّةِ، وَيُحَيِّونَ العَريس. في نِهايَةِ السَّهْرَةِ، صافَحْنا الْعَريسَ وَأَهْلَهُ مُهَنِّثِينَ، وَرَجَعْنَا إِلَى بَيْتِنا مَسْرورينَ. 92

- نَقْرَأُ: فِي قَرْيَتِنا عُرْسٌ ما أَجْمَلَ الأَعْرَاسَ فِي قَرْيَتِنا الْجَمِيلَةِ الْوادِعَةِ فَفِي الْعُرْسِ نَشْتَرِكُ جَميعاً، نُقِيمُ الْعُرْسَ في السَّاحَةِ العامَّةِ الْكَبِيرَةِ، وَقَدْ صَحِبَنا أَبي ذاتَ لَيْلَةٍ أَنا وَأُخْتِيَ الصَّغِيرَةَ تالا إلى سَهْرَةِ عَريس، كانَ الْمَكانُ قَدْ أُعِدَّ جَيِّداً لاسْتِقْبَالِ الْمَدْعُوِّينَ: الْمَسْرَحُ، وَالْكَراسي، وَمُكَبِّراتُ الصَّوْتِ، وَالإِنارَةُ .
- We read: There is a wedding in our village. How beautiful are the weddings in our beautiful, peaceful village! We all participate in the wedding, and we hold the wedding in the large public square. One night, my father took me and my little sister, Tala, to a groom's party. The place had been well prepared to receive the guests: the stage, the chairs, the loudspeakers, and the lighting.
- دَخَلَ الْعَرِيسُ مَحْمولاً على الأكتافِ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ الْحاضِرونَ بِالْغِناءِ وَالْمَواويل والأهازيج الشَّعْبِيَّةِ ، تَحَلَّقَ الْحاضِرونَ حَوْلَ الْعَرِيسِ، وَأَخَذُوا يُرَدِّدُونَ: "عريسنا زين الشباب، زين الشباب عريسنا" شارَكَتْ فِرْقَةُ الدَّبْكَةِ الشَّعْبِيَّةِ مِنْ قَرْيَتِنا فِي الْعُرْسِ، كانَ كُلُّ عُضْوِ فِي الْفِرْقَةِ يَلْبَسُ الْقُمْبارَ وَالْكُوفِيَّةَ ، فَاسْتَمْتَعَ النَّاسُ وَهُمْ يُشاهِدونَ تُراثَنَا الشَّعْبِيَّ، وَأَلْوانَ الدَّبْكَةِ، عَلَى أَنْعَامِ الشَّبَابَةِ وَالْيَرْغول.
- The groom entered carried on shoulders, and the attendees welcomed him with singing, mawwal, and popular folk songs. The attendees gathered around the groom and began chanting: 'Our groom is the best of the youth, the best of the youth is our groom.' The folk dabke troupe from our village participated in the wedding. Every member of the troupe wore the qumbaz and the keffiyeh, and the people enjoyed watching our folk heritage and the colors of the dabke to the melodies of the shabbaba and the yargul.
- وفي الجِهَةِ المُقابِلَةِ، كانَتِ النِّسَاءُ يُغَنينَ، وَيُزَغْرِدْنَ، وَيُشارِكْنَ فِي الدَّبْكَةِ الشَّعْبِيَّةِ، وَيُشارِكْنَ فِي حِنَّاءِ العَروسِ، وَبَعْدَ انْتِهاءِ السَّهْرَةِ، تَجَمَّعَ أَهالي العريس، وَأَهالي العَروسِ، وَبَدَوُوا يُشارِكونَ في الدَّبْكَةِ الشَّعْبِيَّةِ، وَيُحَيِّونَ العَريس.
- On the opposite side, the women were singing, ululating, participating in the folk dabke, and taking part in the bride's henna ceremony. After the party ended, the groom's family and the bride's family gathered and began participating in the folk dabke and greeting the groom.
- في نِهايَةِ السَّهْرَةِ، صافَحْنا الْعَريسَ وَأَهْلَهُ مُهَنِّثِينَ، وَرَجَعْنَا إِلَى بَيْتِنا مَسْرورينَ. 92
