لَمْ تَنْسَ النَّمْلَةُ حَلَاوَةَ الْعَسَلِ، فَعَادَتْ إِلَى الْقَطْرَةِ، وَدَخَلَتْ فِي وَسَطِهَا، وَرَاحَتْ تَلْعَقُ الْعَسَلَ بِشَرَاهَةٍ، وَبَعْدَ أَنْ شَبِعَتْ أَرَادَتِ الْخُرُوجَ مِنْهَا، فَلَمْ تَقْدِرْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ، وَمَاتَتْ فِي الْقَطْرَةِ نَتِيجَةَ طَمَعِهَا.

The ant did not forget the sweetness of the honey. It returned to the drop, crawled into the center, and began licking it greedily. Once full, it tried to leave but found it could not; it died in the drop, a victim of its own greed.
