فَفَرُّوا وَشَدَّ اللهُ رُكْنَ نَبِيِّهِ بِكُلِّ فَتًى حَامِي الْحَقِيقَةِ بَاسِلِ. فَفَرُّوا إِلَى حِصْنِ الْقُصُورِ وَعَلَّقُوا وَكَائِنْ تَرَى مِنْ مُشْفِقٍ غَيْرِ وَائِلٍ. وَأَعْطَوْا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ صَغَارًا وَتَابَعُوا فَأَوْلَى لَكُمْ أَوْلَى حُدَاةَ الزَّوَامِلِ.

فَفَرُّوا وَشَدَّ اللهُ رُكْنَ نَبِيِّهِ بِكُلِّ فَتًى حَامِي الْحَقِيقَةِ بَاسِلِ.
They fled, while God fortified His prophet through every brave youth who stood as a guardian of the truth.
فَفَرُّوا إِلَى حِصْنِ الْقُصُورِ وَعَلَّقُوا وَكَائِنْ تَرَى مِنْ مُشْفِقٍ غَيْرِ وَائِلٍ.
They retreated to the fortress of palaces, hesitating there; how many a sympathetic soul you see, yet none can offer them refuge.
وَأَعْطَوْا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ صَغَارًا وَتَابَعُوا فَأَوْلَى لَكُمْ أَوْلَى حُدَاةَ الزَّوَامِلِ.
They surrendered in disgrace and followed along. Woe to you, woe, you drivers of the baggage camels.
