دُرُوسُ الْبَلَاغَةِ. الْبَابُ الْأَوَّلُ فِي الْخَبَرِ وَالْإِنْشَاءِ. كُلُّ كَلَامٍ فَهُوَ إِمَّا خَبَرٌ، أَوْ إِنْشَاءٌ. وَالْخَبَرُ: مَا يَصِحُّ أَنْ يُقَالَ لِقَائِلِهِ: إِنَّهُ صَادِقٌ فِيهِ أَوْ كَاذِبٌ، كَسَافَرَ مُحَمَّدٌ، وَعَلِيٌّ مُقِيمٌ. وَالْإِنْشَاءُ: مَا لَا يَصِحُّ أَنْ يُقَالَ لِقَائِلِهِ ذَلِكَ، كَسَافِرْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ، وَأَقِمْ يَا عَلِيُّ. وَالْمُرَادُ بِصِدْقِ الْخَبَرِ مُطَابَقَتُهُ لِلْوَاقِعِ وَبِكَذِبِهِ عَدَمُ مُطَابَقَتِهِ لَهُ. فَجُمْلَةُ عَلِيٌّ مُقِيمٌ إِنْ كَانَتِ النِّسْبَةُ الْمَفْهُومَةُ مِنْهَا مُطَابِقَةً لِمَا فِي الْخَارِجِ، فَصِدْقٌ، وَإِلَّا فَكَذِبٌ. وَلِكُلِّ جُمْلَةٍ رُكْنَانِ مَحْكُومٌ عَلَيْهِ وَمَحْكُومٌ بِهِ، وَيُسَمَّى الْأَوَّلُ مُسْنَدًا إِلَيْهِ، كَالْفَاعِلِ، وَنَائِبِهِ وَالْمُبْتَدَأِ الَّذِي لَهُ خَبَرٌ، وَيُسَمَّى الثَّانِي مُسْنَدًا كَالْفِعْلِ وَالْمُبْتَدَأِ الْمُكْتَفِي بِمَرْفُوعِهِ.

وَالْخَبَرُ: مَا يَصِحُّ أَنْ يُقَالَ لِقَائِلِهِ: إِنَّهُ صَادِقٌ فِيهِ أَوْ كَاذِبٌ،
The informative statement is that which it is valid to say to its speaker: 'You are truthful in it or a liar'.
وَالْإِنْشَاءُ: مَا لَا يَصِحُّ أَنْ يُقَالَ لِقَائِلِهِ ذَلِكَ،
The creative statement is that which it is not valid to say to its speaker that.
