تُ البَلَاغَةُ ٨ - بَرَاعَةُ الطَّلَبِ هُوَ أَنْ يُشِيرَ الطَّالِبُ إِلَى مَا فِي نَفْسِهِ دُونَ أَنْ يُصَرِّحَ فِي نَصْبٍ، كَمَا فِي قَوْلِهِ : وَفِي النَّفْسِ حَاجَاتٌ وَفِيكَ فَطَانَةٌ سُكُوتِي بَيَانٌ عِنْدَهَا وَخِطَابُ ٩ - حُسْنُ الِانْتِهَاءِ هُوَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ آخِرَ الْكَلَامِ عَذْبَ اللَّفْظِ حَسَنَ السَّبْكِ صَحِيحَ الْمَعْنَى، فَإِنِ اشْتَمَلَ عَلَى مَا يُشْعِرُ بِالِانْتِهَاءِ سُمِّيَ :- عَةَ الْمَقْطَعِ، كَقَوْلِهِ : بَقِيتَ بَقَاءَ الدَّهْرِ يَا كَهْفَ أَهْلِهِ وَهَذَا دُعَاءٌ لِلْبَرِيَّةِ شَامِلُ

Skill in requesting is for the requester to indicate what is in his soul without declaring it in a text.
كَمَا فِي قَوْلِهِ : وَفِي النَّفْسِ حَاجَاتٌ وَفِيكَ فَطَانَةٌ سُكُوتِي بَيَانٌ عِنْدَهَا وَخِطَابُ
As in his saying: 'In the soul are needs, and in you is acumen; my silence is a clarification of them, and a discourse.'
حُسْنُ الِانْتِهَاءِ هُوَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ آخِرَ الْكَلَامِ عَذْبَ اللَّفْظِ حَسَنَ السَّبْكِ صَحِيحَ
Goodness of conclusion is for one to make the end of the speech sweet in wording, well-composed, and correct in meaning.
