And the interrogative 'alif' enters upon it, as in His saying, the Almighty: 'Or are you amazed that a reminder has come to you from your Lord?'
كما تقول: أفعجبتم.
Just as you say: 'Are you amazed?'
وقد تكون بمعنى مع، لما بينهما من المناسبة
And it may be in the meaning of 'with', due to the association between them.
لان مع للمصاحبة، كقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " بعثت والساعة كهاتين " وأشار إلى السبابة والوسطى، أي مع الساعة.
Because 'ma'a' is for accompaniment, like the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: 'I was sent while the Hour is like these two (fingers)' - and he gestured to the index and middle fingers - meaning 'with the Hour'.

And the waw may be for [introducing] a circumstantial clause, as in their saying: 'I stood up while I was striking his face', meaning 'I stood up striking his face'.
وكقولك: قمت والناس قعود.
And like your saying: 'I stood up while the people were sitting'.
وقد يقسم بها، تقول: والله لقد كان كذا.
And it may be used for an oath, you say: 'By God, it was so.'
وهو بدل من الباء، إذ كان من حروف الشفة.
And it is a substitute for the 'ba', as it is from the labial letters.
ولا يتجاوز الاسماء المظهرة، نحو: والله، وحياتك، وأبيك.
And it does not go beyond explicit nouns, such as: 'By God', 'By your life', and 'By your father'.

Al-Asma'i said: I said to Abu Amr: 'Their saying, Our Lord, and to You is the praise?' He replied: A man says to another man: 'Sell me this garment', and he says: 'And it is yours', and I think he meant: 'It is yours'.
فإذا وذلك يا كبيشة لم يكن * إلا كلمة حالم بخيال كأنه قال: فإذا ذلك لم يكن.
So if that, O Kabisha, was not * but the word of a dreamer in a vision - as if he said: 'So if that was not'.
بلى وغيرها الارواح والديم يريد: بلى غيرها.
Rather, the winds and rains changed it - meaning: 'Rather, something else changed it'.
وقوله تعالى: (حتى إذا جاءوها وفتحت أبوابها) فقد يجوز أن تكون الواو هنا زائدة.
And His saying, the Almighty: 'Until when they came to it, and its gates were opened' - it is possible that the waw here is superfluous.
ويكأن من يكن له نشب يحبب ومن يفتقر يعش عيش ضر
Alas, whoever has possessions is loved, and whoever becomes poor lives a life of hardship.
قال الكسائي: هو ويك أدخل عليه أن، ومعناه ألم تر.
Al-Kisa'i said: It is 'wayk' with 'anna' added to it, and its meaning is 'Have you not seen?'
وقال الخليل: هي وي مفصولة، ثم تبتدئ فتقول: كأن.
And Al-Khalil said: It is 'way' separated, then you begin and say: 'ka'anna'.
