يعني أن ما لا يحتمل القسم كالحبة من الجوهر ونحوها لا يفرق وإن طلب بعض الورثة القسم فيه، لأن فيه ضررا عليهم أو على بعضهم، ولكنه يباع ثم يقسم الثمن بينهم بالفريضة.
Meaning that what cannot bear division, like a single gem or the like, is not divided even if some heirs request its division, because it would cause harm to them or some of them; rather, it is sold and its price is divided among them according to the prescribed shares.
وقوله تعالى: (الذين جعلوا القرآن عضين)
And His saying, the Almighty: (Who made the Quran into divisions)
واحدتها عضة، ونقصانها الواو والهاء، وقد ذكرناه في باب الهاء.
