وسما الفحل، إذا سطا على شوله سماوة.
And the stallion mounted, if he was aggressive towards his females, سماوة.
سماء الاله فوق سبع سمائيا
The sky of God is above seven skies
والسماء: ظهر الفرس، لارتفاعه وعلوه.
And the sky: the back of the horse, due to its height and elevation.
وأحمر كالديباج أما سماؤه * فريا وأما أرضه فمحول
And a red one like brocade, its sky is fertile and its land is barren.
وسماوة كل شئ: شخصه.
And سماوة of everything: its form.
وسماوة البيت: سقفه.
And سماوة of the house: its ceiling.
والسماوة: موضع بالبادية ناحية العواصم.
And Al-Samawah: a place in the desert near Al-Awasim.
